FIRST CROWN EVER MADE WITH AMBER

S&A designed and created a sumptuous jewelled headpiece to crown the most beautiful Polish woman. The inspiration for the Miss Polonia crown, designed by Cyprian Chorociej from the S&A design studio, was a combination of Elfish fantasy and reality. Piotr Frankowski, the jewellery master, worked on the manual process of finishing and assembling the Crown. 1832 jewellery stones were hand-bound and the amber was placed in the central point of the Crown, polished especially for this occasion and selected from several kilograms of raw material. The entire crown was made of sterling silver and covered in precious rhodium, and the decorative elements were plated with 24-karat gold.
