Amberif Selection (formerly Mercurius Gedanensis) is a contest that has being organized during the Amberif Spring exhibition for many years. The main goal is to promote the outstanding features of Baltic amber and the extraordinary craftsmanship of the artists. This year’s edition was quite special for S&A and gave us a fair amount of fun. Among so many talented designers that participated in the contest, our twin Baltic amber pendants “Sounds of amber” by Piotr Frankowski from S&A design studio won the main prize.

Pendants in the form of the speakers refer to nature and its sounds. Simple shape emphasized by a basic decorative element highlights the beauty of natural Baltic amber.
